This piece it titled “MA’s New Throne II” because I composed this prose historical non-fiction piece in lieu of the collage I did that showed these two pictures. So, the collage if it returns will be “MA’s New Throne I”.

DA has removed my collage so it cannot be seen here. I appealed that removal. For more on that, see my comment of September 21 in “Deviant Comments – Axel von Fersen”. I hope DA will hear my appeal and restore the collage “Marie Antoinette’s New Throne” along with three other collages of mine that were deleted. However, I’ve made my appeal and can only wait and hope. In the meantime, your comments on my prose piece above are welcome.

Was the issue they had with the images that were deleted is they were still copyright protected?

we went through a long song and dance. I proved they were't copyright protected and even where they were i had right to do what i did under the fair use doctrine. they said they dont care - if you used something created before and didnt get permission your deleted. end of story. i've moved on. if you want to see the collages then go to my yahoo site - there are links in my two prose items in my gallery. .... and now sweet lady, how about a busty marie antoinette drawing to cheer up axel :)))

All right, I shall put it on my to-do list! I actually was already planning a portrait since you had brought it up. Looked up the artist mentioned in your prose. Just wonderful portraits.

Going to do my own take on her. :D

Though I work really slow. So, gimme time. heh. :D

And well done on keeping on despite some setbacks on here. Ya can't blame 'em, ya gotta keep a tight grip on things or people will use things incorrectly. :nod:

Hi Amber Marie :)

Delighted you are planning your own take on Marie Antoinette. I so like the Vigee LeBrun 1787 and 1788 portraits and glad you like her art work also. I like your work and look forward to your own take...perhaps even more than one...including the Queen "in all her glory" *winks*
As for DA, I quite agree... c'est la vie...this is a big place to police and they have to do what they do, so i accept that. But please do join my Images of MA yahoo group and check out my collages that are now housed over there. Hope you like them :)

They were interesting collages. Good choices to put together.
